United Entertainers began in 1999 under the direction of Mr. Ross Laidley as a way to raise money for local charities. During the past eight years, over $22,000 has been donated to many worthy causes.
Some of our performers have never been on stage, while others or professional, semi-professional, or semi-retired entertainers who just love to perform and make music. Now under the direction of Vann Besth, we have become a Society, which will allow us to do much more for those in our community.
Once Upon a Time... Happily Never After
Our Spring 2010 show is a witty musical parody of several classic and modern fairy tales. Plan to spend an evening enjoying the adventures of Rapunkzel, Jack and His Magic Beanie, Gnarly and Snorey, and the characters from Toy Tale. Music and laughs for all ages!

Come One! Come All!
Hello everyone! This year's show is a little different from our normal performances, yet still full of the fun, song and liveliness that you expect from us. This year we decided to throw in a little magic and make-believe as well.
We start this year with a new director, Ted Hubert. Ted started his entertainment career as a theatre major at the University of Calgary. He worked for many years in film and television production as a writer/producer, and is a songwriter who has fronted two local rock bands. Ted has also been active in community theatre with the Sidekick Players and as a performer in many variety shows.
With the help of cast members Bill Jones and Jill Rasmussen, Ted has written a show to be proud of!
The members of the United Entertainers are full of energy and excitement as we head into this year's new show. You will see some new faces, and recognize some of us from performances past. As always, we are a group of retired professional and amateur performers that volunteer our time to entertain audiences in Delta, to raise money for charitable groups in our community. As a group, we are the only ones that raise money in this way.
With a lot of hard work and laughter, we are creating a show to brighten your days. We look forward to seeing you in April 2010 when we present our show!
