A United Entertainer member is a member who is in good standing, who has paid his/her/family annual membership on, or before the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Membership:
• Entitles you to be first to audition for upcoming performances
• Entitles you, and a paid guest take advantage of priority seating.
• Opportunities to partake in Society social & community functions
• Opportunities to address the membership and contribute at general meetings
• Opportunities to vote on Society decisions
• Opportunities to participate in Theatre workshops and education
Membership Obligations:
• Attendance at Annual General Meeting
• Annual dues
• Invitation to serve on your choice of production support committees
Our Productions
While all members are encouraged to audition for our productions, not everyone is chosen, or is interested in performing on-stage for every show. There are many options available to support our performances, and no matter your interests, we have a behind the scenes supporting role for YOU! --- Directing, Producing, Stage Managing, assisting the Director or Stage Manager, sound, costumes, props, program design, advertising/publicity, box office, concession, gala preparation, stage construction/decoration, graphic design, and many more...
These important support roles are invaluable in Theatre & your volunteer time is highly valued - no Theatrical group can be successful without their “behind the scenes” TEAM! You can be involved in just one production, or you can be involved in all productions - every helping hand is a welcome one! We usually give on the job training or you can partner up with someone and share a project.
So come on out, make some friends, do your part for your community, and above all - come have some theatrical FUN!!
